Okay. Let's be honest for a second.
You don't need a home stylist. You didn't need the good coffee either. But here you are, and your mornings are better for it.
So let me answer the question I actually get asked — usually a little sheepishly, usually in my DMs:
"Is hiring a stylist… kind of extra?"
No. And I'll tell you exactly who it's for.
You don't need me if you love the process
Some people genuinely light up rearranging their mantel on a Sunday. They've got a bin of ribbon in the garage, a good eye, and a free afternoon.
If that's you — keep going. I mean it. That's the whole feeling I'm trying to give everyone else.
You might want me if any of this sounds familiar
- You walk in and something feels off, but you can't name it.
- You have the pieces. You just don't know how to make them look intentional.
- You've bought three fall things this year and they're still in the Target bag.
- It's October, the season's half over, and you haven't touched a thing.
That's not a you-problem. That's a time-and-eye problem. And both are fixable.
What a stylist actually does (it's not "decorating")
Decorating is adding stuff. Styling is editing, layering, and making what you already have look like it was meant to be there.
Here in Greenville, I do it two ways:
- In your home — I bring the pumpkins, the florals, the greenery, and the eye, and install the whole thing for you.
- Virtually — anywhere in the country. We work from your photos, and I hand you a plan you can actually follow.
Either way, you're not buying "decor." You're buying your Saturday back. And a house that finally feels like the season it's living in.
The honest math
A styling package isn't nothing. But think about what it replaces: the three trips to the store, the stuff that didn't work, the pile in the garage, the low-key stress every time you walk past the entry.
I'd rather you spend once and love it than spend five times and settle.
If your home's been feeling a little off lately — that's usually the season, not the sofa. Let's fix it.
