I Don’t Do Cheesy Holiday Decor — Here’s What I Do Instead

Let me just say it.

I don’t love cheesy holiday decor.

I don’t want heart pillows.
I don’t want glitter signs.
I don’t want a theme taking over my house.

And I know a lot of you feel the same way — you just don’t know what to do instead.

Here’s the shift:

Instead of decorating for the holiday…
I style for the mood.

Valentine’s? Deep red florals. Velvet ribbon. Movement.
Fall? Muted pumpkins. Branches. Warm layers.
Christmas? Texture. Scale. Soft glow.
Spring? Space. Air. Negative space.

If you stripped away the obvious holiday symbol…
Would it still feel beautiful?

That’s always my test.

Your home can reflect the season without screaming it.

We’re layering, not theming.
